[ It shouldn't matter, but he's seen what humans, users, are capable of, and it's not something he wishes to repeat. In all honesty, it isn't something he ever wants to experience. Not worse is infinitely the same as better in his opinion. There's a pause, and he settles on: ]

[Better, maybe. But that doesn't mean not limited. Users might be slow and weak and entirely without logic, but they have more power in their own way than any program. Except Clu, of course.]

[ There's too much reason why wants would take precedence over needs, but Mephistopheles knows both of them well. And it's certainly not a trap. ]
