There's no greeting voice when your call goes to message—only a short period of static. Or is it whirring? Either way, it might not be the device causing the sound.

[As he's pretty sure Miller knows already. The simulation room wasn't quite equipped for all nonhuman senses, and Rinzler rarely picks up anything but the code of the projections when he attempts scans there. But he's shown the user those functions in other contexts.
If not always combative ones.]
Reason for requirement: 'alive'?

"Alive" is preferable more than a necessity. Dispose of any bodies should anyone be killed. There are parties down there will be willing to assist you if compensated, if you're unable to do it yourselves.

Can manage.
Target assignment?

First target, Deacon.
Information so far; he's being sold to a mining corporation. That's all I know so far.

Acknowledged.
Source?
[Wherever Miller found out that seems like a good place to start.]

I can send you some known slave locations, as well as sales areas.

[Yes please.]

I'm going to have to ask the MID programmers to institute a mapping application.
Ryuuzaki may have further information on the area.

Take care of yourself.
[Because even if Rinzler is a good worker, a fantastic resource, an exceptional fighter, he's most valuable as a friend. Which is something most people probably wouldn't claim of him. But having spent so long alienating people, ostracizing himself, he really needed a socially stunted program as an acquaintance.]

It's an unnecessary statement. Rinzler is fine; Rinzler can handle himself; Rinzler isn't the one stuck on a station full of malware. But Rinzler's well enough acquainted with Miller to read the other message in the line. It's not all that different from one Miller had sent before, when Rinzler had been trapped. When he'd needed reminding to come back at all.]
Won't forget.

Retrieval: coming.
[You too.]
