Detailed Permissions Post (Rinzler)

What You Can Do to Rinzler

Hugging, Touching, Romance, Closeness: OOCly, you're welcome to attempt. ICly, violence is a lot more likely than reciprocation.

Combat, Injury, Derezz: I'd like to chat before we actually kill, but PICK ALL THE FIGHTS yes please. Rinzler is his own ball of crazy there (see below), so I might prod you to work out resolutions, but combat threads are the best thing.

Reprogramming: As a computer program, Rinzler's vulnerable to recoding-- rewrite of his abilities, personality, permissions, or anything else. If your character's in a position to do this, I'm interested. But the fallout can be massive, so it is is something I'd like to talk out first.

What Rinzler Can Do to You

Combat:
For the most part, I'll be looking up other people's permissions posts, so this is just a heads up. Rinzler's violent, aggressive, and literally the most talented fighter in his world. He exceeds human strength and speed, uses weapons that can cut through nearly any material, and has over a millennium of experience killing. Also? He doesn't generally believe in holding back.

If he gets in a fight with your character, there will be relatively few instances he's not aiming for death or maiming. This doesn't mean he'll succeed, and I'm all in favor of oocly working out diversions or consequences. But if you're tagging him in a combat situation, please be aware of the risks.

Hacking:
Rinzler's original coding is as a security program, and as above, he excels at his job. As far as communication devices are concerned, this ranges from setting up his own security measures to breaking those of others. Encryptions come naturally to him, and while the hardware might take a bit of a learning curve, Rinzler's adaptive and intelligent—and this, more than anything in the user world, is instinctive.

What this means for your character: where it is possible, Rinzler will try to creep on all the things. He's not likely to use anything he learns against others without motive (and lacks the sense of humor to troll), but he's both skilled at and interested in reading your filtered and encrypted messages. PLEASE COMMENT if you are okay with or interested in him reading your character's private stuff. Where it comes up, I do my best to contact players for permission, but advanced plotting is always appreciated.

He and Arcee can have another miniwar of the encryptions, because she will not be at all happy that someone is reading private stuff. While I will laugh. Though she won't be as bad as Soundwave in it.

Dusk, will likely never learn how to encrypt and I don't know how much interest he would have in a walking, talking glass doll but bweh she's free game all around. If he can make sense of her speech that is.
