[A mistake isn't a lie. They can repair damage. There are any number of things Rinzler could argue, any number of ways J is being unfair. But the more he stares at that line... the more the user who cowered and let him save her less than a week ago calls him a liar and coward for trying to help? The less any of that matters.

He shouldn't have bothered. Shouldn't have told her, shouldn't have tried to correct the imbalance of her missing voice. He should never have let it bother him at all. He hates that he did. He hates the user.
